Meet our Founder…
Hi, my name is Tammy. I’ve always loved helping others — especially babies and toddlers — which led me to pursue my dream and earn a Degree in Education. I moved to Dubai in 2007, where I discovered my passion for managing nursery schools and training teachers and nannies, as much as being in the classroom with children.
After welcoming my little girl in 2019, my perspective on childcare changed completely. I wanted her to have the one-to-one care a nanny could provide, combined with the educational variety of a nursery. So, I began training our nanny to create engaging activities and routines that supported both learning and wellbeing. The transformation was incredible — and my confidence as a parent grew.
Now, as a mum to one little girl and twin boys, I understand the importance of balancing love, learning, and trust. Through My Governess, I’m passionate about helping families find that same confidence, connection, and joy in their childcare journey.
All of our Head Governesses are fluent in English and have experience and qualifications in Early Years Education and childcare.
My Governess will provide each nanny with a monthly certificate, highlighting the workshops they participated in, as well as their strengths and future goals. We will also provide parents with informative parent guides and feedback after each session.
